Couture Draping - Becky Amos

I based my design on Greek draping, and paintings by Herbert James Draper. These paintings show how a garment can be transformed in movement so I tried to reflect this and create a garment that looks amazing when still, but even better when in motion. Due to the hidden features of my design it is a lot more complex than it looks. But I am really happy with the outcome however I believe it will look 10 times more stunning when made in chiffon (for the skirt), and taffeta for the pleated bust, instead of calico.
